Zynga

On Friday night my Uncle Kevin was telling us about his new job in San Francisco. Of course we all knew about zynga considering we play scramble and a few other word games against each other religiously. When he invited us to come tour his office building we jumped at the chance, so Saturday morning we found ourselves driving back into San Francisco. As we were piling into the car Robby announced that the hood of our car was super smelly. We all looked at him like he was weird and since I know Robby I knew better than to walk over to put my face near something and smell it because he tells me to. However, he wouldn't relent so we eventually found ourselves popping the hood of our car and finding one of the crazy dead birds that we hit on our drive through Nevada. Sad, but stinky.
We arrived at the building in no time at all. Apparently the owner of the company purchased an old shopping mall and turned it into their office building. The place is huge; like 5 stories huge and it is basically amazing inside.
There is a huge cafeteria where they bring tons of food for lunch and feed all their employees. There is a gym and games and little kitchens scattered throughout the building stocked full of food and treats and candy. It was like heaven.
They had a hot chocolate machine that was so fancy and tasted delicious.
There was also a kitchen full of tons of candy. I gave Bails a little cup with a few jelly beans inside and she was walking around like a happy camper. We came over to the atrium and we all stepped over to look down. Bails somehow let one of her jelly beans slip out of her hand and after about 5 seconds you hear a big clink as it hits the ground below us. Talk about instinctual walking away from the scene of the crime with a face full of panic and fear because that was Bails to the Tee. I couldn't even bring myself to scold her about being more careful because of how remorseful and scared she was after the incident.
After our tour we headed over to play some games. Of course we gravitated to super shot. Rob went first and got like 52 points. I tried to show him up and only managed 50. I had him super scared, but I just barely didn't pull it off. He was of course talking trash so I took my second turn and shattered his score with a whopping 71. I had to get my picture taken just to prove that I killed him. I was the raining champion for a solid few minutes before he took his second try and once again beat me by a few baskets.

After our fun at Zynga we headed back to San Leandro so we could help my Dad do some work around my grandparents house. We hung out, cleaned a few closets out, got oil changes in the car, then headed over to the hospital to say our final goodbyes to my Grandma before we took off early the next morning.
Then it was back to Grandma Sugiyama's house where we had the traditional Japanese New Years soup a little bit early. It was so delicious. Even Sam got into the spirit and loved it! We had such a fun visit to Northern California. I wish we could have stayed longer. We love you all.
