Grandma Pam's House

Our morning, or I should say Sam's morning started nice and early thanks to little Bailey. She woke up early enough to get some light saber fighting in with the boys before they headed off to school.
Sam made sure to keep an eye on them in between watching the back of his eyelids.
Soon enough we were ready for the day and off on our adventures. We made a pit stop to Clyde's school for a little Christmas sing a long. Bails was in heaven trying to sing along to the songs she didn't know and watching all the kids.
Day #2 in Boise also involved a visit to Great Grandpa Braden. I think our impromptu arrival woke him up from his nap, but he was just as hilarious and alert as ever. He told us stories (which ended up being bedtime stories for Bails) while Hazel and Isaac just crawled around trying to open up Grandpa's Christmas presents and break all of his house decor.
Then it was off to Grandma Pam's house for a fun yet chaotic evening with all her grandchildren under one roof. Grandma's house is like Bailey's dream house. There are tons of toys to play with, as well as decorations and teddy bears and during this visit nativities to attempt to break. She just runs from one end of the house to the other, and back again pulling everything out and then quickly moving onto the next shiny object. By the end of her stay it looks like a tornado as destroyed Grandma's house.
Hazel does pretty much the same thing on a shorter and less quick level.
They kept me busy pretty much the entire time...
Especially because Sam went on a long expedition to find all of his childhood memories. For some reason he had it in his brain that they were in the crawl space underneath the house. I stayed far away from the back room while all this was going on, but Jana told me he went down there looking. If I didn't trust her so much I would have definitely called her a liar considering Sam has told me many times about how scary it is down there and how you couldn't pay him enough to crawl down there because there are a million spiders that live underneath the house. I guess childhood memories really are priceless? Especially ones that you think are in the spider infested crawl space, yet aren't.
His next voyage was out to the garage and into the attic.

I'm not exactly sure what it was he was looking for, but he did find his old fisher price sesame street house that he cleaned and proceeded to steal back for the little girls. They love it. The people really are little and there is a slide and crank and Sam is so proud. He tells me frequently, "they don't make these things like they used too!"
Bails and Will also were good helpers in the kitchen. Making yummy cake is Bailey's specialty as long as she gets to eat it in the end.
In between making dinner for all 13 of us, Grandma Pam took some time to read with her little Bails...
 After the yummy ham dinner..
Jana and I took care of the dishes...
while Grandma pulled out her Christmas presents for the little girls. Bailey and Hazel got a little Dora and Boots which they both love, some magnetic dolls, a little animal farm complete with animals noises and music (which isn't super loud so I love it also), and a princess tent.
The night ended with some carolers roaming the neighborhood. I feel awkward when people sing to me so I made sure to stay steer clear of the door, but Bailey, Jack and Jana made it to the end.
Our sleeping arrangements were a little bit of musical chairs each night. The first night it was Bails and I in the bed with Sam and Hazel on the floor.
Tonight Bailey overtook the sleeping bag which left me sleeping with the constant roller and mover formally known as Hazel.
Of course, her bed time was a little later than usual as she perused the house decided to play quietly and cute which only happens at bed time.
