Jelly Bean Thief

While we were in Reno my Mom sent us home with this little jar of jelly beans. They are the soda pop flavors. My girls have never been more in love with anything in their lives. Hazel spends a good portion of her day asking to be picked up, and then proceeding to point you to the kitchen counter where this jar is placed. Usually I tell her, no no Hazel, no treats and I get this face...

But every once in awhile I will open it up and give her one. As soon as I open it just lets out this gasp like oh yes, what a pleasant surprise. I love jelly beans...

I have even let her reach her chubby little hands inside the jar and pull one out for herself. She used to do such a good job at pulling one out, shoving it in her mouth, and then trying to go fast and grab one more before I close it. However, today she surprised me. I opened it up for her to grab one and she looked at me as she moved her hand slowly to the jar. Then all of a sudden she transitioned to lightening speed, grabbed a handful (like seven or eight) and then shoved them all in her mouth before I even realized what had just happened. I grabbed her hand out of her mouth and managed to retrieve 3 or 4 of them, but she definitely won this battle.
Apparently she is more mischievous then she looks. She must be hanging out with her sister too much.
