Five Year Anniversary

To celebrate five years of marriage we decided to do a little breakfast at Eggs n things. It was delicious as always. After breakfast we came back and did our chores. We walked the dog and watered the yard and then put the little girls down for their naps. After naps we headed down to zuma for a little beach afternoon.

It took forever to find a parking spot, but after that it was smooth sailing. We got our little camp set up and then changed the little girls into their swim suits.

We saw a helicopter and tons of nasty seagulls which Bails just loved.

Then we headed down to the water. It was ice cold so after a few minutes I took Hazel back up to the shade while Sam and Bails kept playing.

Hazel kept trying to grab the sand and eat it so she got moved into the center of the towels so she could at least grab at the food and water.

After awhile of playing Bails came back up all wet.

Apparently she had a blast playing in the water. She would find rocks and then just start charging the water to throw it in. She would turn and run when a big wave was coming, or she would just keep running towards it and just pray you were paying attention and could keep her from getting swept out to sea. She was fearless which was absolutely terrifying.

She also did not need the five minutes of adjustment time to let your limbs go numb and not shudder at the waters temperature. She was just ready to play. I guess she has a little bit of Uncle Robby in her too.

She did enjoy her time of cuddling in a towel and eating chips as well.

And then we headed back up to TO to finish off the day with some Topper's Pizza. Nothing says anniversary and I love you like the best pizza in the world.

Happy Anniversary Sam! Can't believe it has been 5 years. When did we get so grown up? (at least age wise, maybe not maturity wise). I love you so much. I am so glad I get to spend eternity with you.
