California Days

We headed down to California to watch Rex and take care of the house while my parent's went on their Alaskan cruise. We went a few days early so we could hang out with them before they headed out on their adventure.

Hazel loved Rex from day 1. She was so fascinated by him and was always trying to get close to him so she could grab him in typical Hazel fashion.

Bailey didn't love Rex in the beginning, but she was pretty much in love with everything else.

First there was Rachel who was her endless supply of snacks and big girl fun.
Also, my parent's have a ton of fruit trees in their backyard and she would have hung out back there eating everything she could for the rest of her life and be so happy.

Further, the water aspect was the best thing she could ever ask for. Two hoses to squirt, a waterfall and the spa during the day to splash Rachel and to swim in at night were just completely added bonuses. I don't even know how many outfits we had to change a day because she would come in dripping wet after her shenanigans in the backyard.

There was also another person to attack and drool all over besides her usual Mom, Dad and Hazel victims.

And Grandma and Grandpa were always around to play games, go on walks, explore with, and dote on her. To sum it up, this little girl was in little Bailey heaven.
