Since we are planning on heading down to California in a few days we decided to celebrate Father's Day a little early. Of course Sam didn't argue because lets be honest, he will get spoiled next week in California by Mom and us anyway so I guess this means that he gets two special Sundays in a row. Thanks to Bailey and her 6:30 am wake up call we got breakfast nice and early. Waffles with whipped cream, strawberries and blueberries, eggs, bacon, and yummy juice. Pretty sure Bailey and Sam were both in heaven.
So proud of my girl. She devours bacon like a true carnivore.
And of course one of Sam's prouder moments: She decided to fore-go her cut up waffle with whipped cream and just attack the waffle plate in the middle of the table sans fork. Such a lady.
Sam was way too busy stuffing his face to parent the situation, and of course I had to handle the camera so....I guess we decided to pick our battles and this wasn't one of them???
Hazel-roo decided to grace us with her presence a little after breakfast with a normal person wake up call...8am. Sam was very happy because he was told he got his presents when the baby was up and of course when Sam hears he has presents the four year old kid in him pops out.
His first present from Hazel-roo was his beloved chocolate macadamia nut clusters which made him super happy...
until Bailey decided to steal them. She helped me pick them out at Costco and carried them all by herself when we were unloading the car. Of course I told her to take them into the kitchen and after one failed attempt to get them up on the counter she sneakily disappeared back into her room and spent the next ten minutes trying to get them open to no avail. Better luck next time Bails.
His next present from Bails was the biggest box of kit kats you will ever see.
Bails wandered the whole time he was opening presents, but managed to grace us with her presents both time chocolate was opened. She must have a sixth sense about those things.
His final present made Sam smile bigger than ever. He has been telling me for awhile now how he 'needs' an Ipad to help him study better so he can get a good score on his step 1 boards blah blah blah. Also that his Itouch is outdated and he can't play any of the fun games on it blah blah blah. I finally caved and all I can say is he better get a million on that dang test of his.
We finished off the day eating dinner with Grandma Pam, Queden and Isaac. Quite possibly the perfect day for our awesome Daddy. Happy Father's Day Sam. We love you so much. You are the best dad and husband your 3 girls could ever ask for.
