Sam had never been and I hadn't gone for a really long time. It was just like I remembered; jammed pack with plenty of strange people and nasty pigeons which equals plenty of entertainment for both the adults and children.
Both little girls loved the birds. Bailey pointed and chased after them.
Hazel stared intently and leaned so far forward to catch a closer look that she almost fell out of my arms a few times.
Grandpa was a very good sport and went along with Bailey's every wish. They trekked over to the sand, up the stairs, and got good glimpses of the people and the water all while the rest of us slowly followed along after them to watch the street vendors and the people.
Hazel was a happy bug. After all, she was free from a stroller which is a somewhat rare occasion in her short 6 months of life.
Some nice wind tossed hair as she strikes a pose.
Hoping to see a dolphin or a bird catch a fish with not much luck.
And of course when I saw the cotton candy machine I had to get some. I did my best to hide it from the sugar monster, but her 6th sense kicked in and she spotted me.
A perfect day at the Santa Monica Pier.
