Sunday afternoon was a very busy time in the Braden household. Little Hazel passed the time happily swinging away.

On the contrary, this cute little face was up to all kinds of mischief.

On top of dinner I had the bright idea to make some sugar cookies for home and visiting teaching families. I managed to get most of it done in the morning, but frosting all the cookies and rolling out and baking the croissants were left on the list. While I finished up the rolls Sam was hard at work making the frosting. Bailey was running around like the wild child that she is. At one point it got a little too quiet. I started to wonder what she was up to and sent Sam looking for her. It was a nice day and she was running inside and outside, so he stepped into the backyard to find her. He called her name and then walked over to the side of the house (her favorite spot). He found her squatting against the brick wall eating a stolen cookie. We looked at where they were cooling on the counter and sure enough the rack and been scooted over to the edge where she managed to grab one, and then hide in safety to eat it. The first of probably many stolen cookies to come.

We let her eat it to the dismay of Sam who was already grumpy that there was probably going to be maybe one (and now possibly none) for him to eat. We went back to work while she finished her cookie and continued to play. Awhile later it once again got quiet, and I once again sent Sam to see what she had gotten into. She had managed to sneak into our room, find the ipad, and then carry it back to her room so she could watch one of her movies.

Her final fiasco has no pictures because it was too disgusting to have time to grab a camera. It was during dinner and involved a dripping wet toilet brush finally being carried into the kitchen (we aren't sure exactly how many rooms it managed to venture into prior to this and I don't really want to think about it much). I screamed, Sam did his best to do damage control, and Bailey just stood there with a face like 'What's wrong with you guys?' This child may be the end of me.

This was so funny and cute!
First of all, there's always time to grab a camera.
Secondly, your girls are adorable.
Maybe sam should put a scary movie on the ipad, like the Dark Crystal or Lady and the Tramp-cued up to the siamese cat part,so that she would be too scared to sneak off and watch it alone!
Sam and Terri, your girls are darling! We miss you!
