We started our Saturday off with a trip to the grocery store. Bailey loves it because she always gets to push the buttons on the elevator.

As soon as we got off the elevator Bailey had the pleasure of meeting the scariest Easter Bunny on the planet. She didn't cry, but the alarmed look on her face says it all...

And who can blame her? If I came across a bunny that looked like that and also happened to be three times the size of me, I would want my Mom to hold me too (Or I would just take off running).

After the traumatizing bunny we used candy hunting as therapy. Little baskets of treats were placed around the store and she had fun going to pick out her candies.

We got home and she had to color her new book. And by color I mean she watched Sam color and made just a few contributions like dumping out all the crayons.

Hazel of course just smiled, sang, and ate her little elephant.

After naps we headed over to the Taggarts to hang out with our medical school friends. We had such a good time eating, taming our wild children, relaxing, talking, and of course watching these crazy kids hunting for eggs.

They were so excited. And Bailey is only slightly obsessed with Jack.

They both ran out and dropped their baskets. First Jack picked up both of them and then Bailey somehow ended up with them. She is running after Jack to hand him his basket.

Hunting for eggs.

Who knew looking for a few eggs could be so stressful?

A quick pose in between gasps of exclamation and running to snatch up her next one.

Watching her back of course. You don't want anyone sneaking up behind you.

Spotting a whole stash of them!

She had glimpses of crazy and small glimpses of being shy.

She shook each egg when she picked it up, but then she obediently ran over to me and put them in her basket.

Half way through one of the eggs broke open and out spilled the jelly beans. At this point I thought our searches were over. Miraculously she just ate one or two and then ran along and kept looking for more.

Our only casualty ending up being her white sweater. The whole front was stained with red jelly bean drool. Time to test out my pinterest stain remover mixture.

And finally, you must dump out your entire basket at the end of your searches.

Lucky Hazel managed to make off with a small loot when Bailey wasn't watching. A bendy bunny that she tried to vigorously eat.

Thanks so much for having us over Taggarts. We had a lot of fun.
