Dinner Thief

I was making dinner. The chicken patties were in the oven baking and I set the buns out on the plates, open and ready for the chicken to be placed right in. I heard Bailey about her usual business grabbing the computer chair and rolling it over to the counter so she could climb up and make trouble. Usually she goes after the treats (like the bowl of Easter jelly beans that ended up in the trash because it was too much of a temptation for her to climb up and eat as many as she could before she got caught). This time she managed to eat half of the top part of my bun before I realized what she was up to.
I guess she was super hungry for dinner.
I stopped her and moved the plate out of her reach. Or rather what I thought was out of her reach because after that she managed to eat half of another piece of bun. Needless to say both Sam and I's chicken sandwiches were a little strange to eat that night.
The kid acts like I starve her and that could not even be further from the truth. Sometimes I feel like I am feeding a sixteen your old boy in that little two year old body of hers.

Thanks for all the new blogs! One of my favorite parts of Saturdays are seeing these pictures and reading what your cute girls are up to. Terri, were you this mischievous? You have to know that Sam had it in him to steal a cookie on the rare occasions I made them!

Just caught up on your blog! Man I love reading about your funny little Bailey. I'm glad you're keeping a pretty good journal on here, these stories might not seem funny now but you'll love reading about them later. :) Hazel is growing up and she is beautiful! So glad to see you guys are doing well.

Oh you're girls are so incredibly cute! Wish we were closer to see them grow up in person. We'll be in Utah at the end of June and we HAVE to see you guys!
