Bed Time Procrastination

Every night during Bailey's bed time ritual she would all of a sudden be very interested in her toys or Hazel and become so hilarious or cute that we give in and let her play a little longer. She is already way too smart for her own good. She basically knows she owns us.

Hazel thinks Bailey is hilarious. Or weird. Or possibly a little of both.

Bailey started doing this strange thing where she randomly snatches at the air and gasps and then laughs at herself and then repeats. I have no idea where she learned it.

Sam said he first noticed it because they were outside on a walk and there was little floating white puffs from the trees and she was trying to grab at them. She must have adapted that to grabbing at nothing with a few sound effects and found it quite amusing.

Bailey also enjoys petting Hazel. Whenever we tell her to be soft with her sister she just starts stroking Hazel's hair.

And then the stroking turned into a little hug

which sort of evolved into a choke hold.

And then eventually led to her trying to attack me. She started doing this funny lion roar which sounds like a deep smokers voice growl (which in fact does sound quite scary); and when she does the voice she has every intention of scaring you and laughing.

Little Hazel happy to be out of her choke hold hug and no longer the target of interest.
