It was that time of year again for us. I get to stress about everyone's outfits and whether or not the girls will behave. Sam just has to shrug his shoulders and tell me to calm down all while the little girls carry on oblivious to everything except toys and food. And of course they turned out perfectly because Makell is the absolute best. The only problem is picking out my favorite.
This one is a top contender because Bails is smiling perfectly and the backround is awesome. Can you tell this was the first spot we picked? Bails was still very attentive and obedient while she planned and schemed her escape routes, jungle gyms, and things that were too cool to not touch.
The second location.
Plants and flowers to pick...
room to crawl...
benches and chairs to climb on and jump off of...
And yet we still managed to get a few of my top favorites...
And then when we were ready to snap a few of just Sam and I
the little escape artists who originally refused to sit still came crawling on back and turned it all back into a family photo...
one by one...
And this picture couldn't tell our story any better...little curious Hazel bug staring at the camera while Bailey sideways skips along; because we don't walk anywhere anymore, we skip and jump.
While riding the elevator back down from the roof top we turned it into a photo op. It took many rides up and down while we waited for confused people to get on and off. Being in an empty elevator on the first floor is way harder than it looks. My stomach kept dropping, assuring me that my roller coaster riding days are probably long over while fearless Hazel stared on without a hint of fear or motion sickness.
A new location brought new outfits for the girls. Sam was sure to point out that he was the sole person that didn't get any new clothing for family pictures or get to change outfits half way through. I guess that's the rough part about being the only boy.
Of course Hazel is picking a leaf. She was probably getting hungry.
The sun was not our friend on these steps and Bails had just about had it.
Crawling around and playing was still ok, but looking at the camera and smiling was next to torturous...
So we snapped a few last minute pictures...
And called it a wrap. Thank you so much Makell. I love every single one.
