You know it's going to be a good day when you see these cute little happy babies playing (sort of) with each other.
We headed over to Grandma Pam's to see the whole family before everyone started their travels home.
Hazel and Bryn hanging out together while Nick kept the older kids entertained with bubbles out front.
After a couple of hours it was back over to Hunter's to say our last goodbyes and then back to Jana's for dinner with Grandpa Braden.
There was Grandpa, cousins, eating, playing with balls, slides, and swings to keep Bails more than busy.
This is how I spent probably a good twenty minutes:
-Bailey or Will climbing up the slide (they did a pretty good job taking turns)
-Getting the life shocked out of me by one of their chubby little fingers
-Getting laughed at hysterically for letting out a little shriek and jumping back
-Sending them down the slide
-repeat
I was unsuccessful. Grandpa Braden had to step in and help me out since Sam just stood there taking pictures and laughing at me.
Apparently my sub-conscious was a little more angry then I even thought. I was pushing these little guys on the swings.
I pushed Will a little too hard and I literally almost pushed the entire swing set over. If I hadn't grabbed the ropes and pulled it back the entire thing would have toppled over and I am pretty sure all 3 of the kids would have been terrified of the swings for the rest of their lives.
Luckily Clyde and Will hardly noticed, but Bailey was not a fan; she wanted off after that. And then she ventured over to a new extreme sport. Fitting three children inside this swing. Pretty sure it bottomed out so there was very little swinging, but there were plenty of giggles.
We ended the evening with a little photo shoot by the American flag.
Bailey watched for a few of the pictures and then she decided to join them.
Of course after a few pictures she got a little bored and noticed the flagging dangling right above her.
So of course she had to pull it and try to hang on it.
And what does Sam do? He just watches like a curious bystander wondering what is going to happen next. Yep, that sounds about right.
Luckily Grandpa Braden stepped in so she could give him a little hug goodbye.
Then, instead of going in for jammies and bed time the sneaky girl ran over and hopped on the bike. She managed to weasel a few more minutes riding the bike and then getting Sam to take her on a real bike ride.
And of course what says bed time better than a sword fight.
