I am sure Sam has been so happy to be done with his first year of school; especially since he has spent the better part of his first week off dealing with me being a slave driver as we finally whip our messy house into shape. We finally moved Bailey out of her crib and into a big girl bed. She was downstairs playing with Uncle Robby (to help him celebrate his birthday) while we moved things around, vacuumed, and then put it all back together. When we finally brought her back up to her new room she was so amazed. She walked in and let out this huge gasp and then she got the biggest smile on her face.
She walked around just touching everything and smiling.
And then of course she did what anyone should do when they are overcome with happiness. She jumped for joy. Ha Ha.
Besides having to force her to get back into bed and not play with toys during her first nap it has been an easy transition.
And now it is official and I can't believe it; my cute, chubby, little baby is growing up.
