trying your hardest to hold hands with your little cousin...
and riding bikes out front.
Of course when it is sunny you have to wear sun glasses so you don't accidentally crash.
Unless of course you want to play chicken. And then crashing into each other is the funniest way to end the game.
Sam also took these two on a bike ride. By the end of it they both looked ready to fall asleep whilst holding hands and leaning against each other.
After catching the last few minutes of Clyde Monster's soccer game we headed down to Boise to meet up with the Seattle Hunter clan. Luckily I forgot my camera so our only memories of the events are in my head. We had a fun time browsing the candy store with Kym, Dave, Felix and Rio. Bailey picked a candy necklace which she sucked on and ate the whole time we walked down by the river. She had fun throwing rocks into the river with Felix until Sam accidentally broke her necklace and all the candy fell into the dirt. Then the two of them had fun throwing little candy pieces into the river. Lucky fish. Rio was a champion sleeper and Hazel loved actually being held and looking at the world. After our walk we headed over to a pizza joint where we met up the Bryn, Nick, Uncle David and Aunt Sage. After lunch it was back to Grandma Pam's house for naps and then over to the wedding reception.
When we got there the cute happy couple was taking the last of their pictures with all of the nieces and nephews. Bailey saw all of the kids and kept fighting to try to get down to all of them.
The rest of the reception she spent giving Grandma Pam and Clyde a run for their money. She was in heaven being chased around by Clyde...
And I am positive Grandma Pam deserves an award for chasing after both of them.
There was also a playground right outside the reception hall that distracted all the kiddos perfectly. Bailey is a monkey see monkey do type of girl. She watched Felix climb up the ladder fearlessly so she had to do it; cowboy boots and all. Her first couple attempts we were the crazy hovering parents.
But eventually we loosened up a bit. Hazel, however, did not loosen up much. She decided this was the weekend to begin the separation anxiety thing and would not let anyone else hold her for longer than a few minutes.
Silly girl. Your timing is quite impeccable.
It was such a fun wedding. The whole extended family was present except for Queden and Cody who we missed a lot. Thanks so much for getting married Andrea and Toby. We had so much fun celebrating your day. Congratulations guys. And I happened to not get a single picture of you both the entire evening.
We also sadly missed the pinata adventure, but we heard it was a good time.
Happy Wedding Day!
