Thanksgiving!

At the last minute, like the day before, Sam's attending decided that Sam didn't have to come into work that day; a Thanksgiving day miracle! He got to sleep in until 7 am with the rest of us and then we started the crescent roll dough, got ready, then headed down to Provo to hang with all the Galeria's!
When we first got there the girls were terrified of Rex, my parent's dog (or rather my Mom's eighth and favorite child). Hazel decided to hide out under the pillows and safety and of David and Dana.
Miko just got passed around and hardly made a peep the whole day.
Bailey found Rachel and latched onto her the entire weekend. They are best friends. It also explains the other night when Bails came out of her room after bedtime begging to just listen the 'evea evea evea' song. Sam and I had no idea what she was talking about. The next day when we heard Rachel listening to Taylor Swift's song about never ever ever getting back together we started laughing...it all made sense. That song may also be attributed to her saying 'jerk' and 'hate' the other day as well. We explained to her those words are like 'stupid' and we don't say them. We haven't heard them again, so lets hope it stays that way.
Dinner was delicious of course. Turkey, ham, stuffing, potatoes, salad, rolls....yum yum yum.
The girls pretty much ate deviled eggs and rolls for dinner. It may have only been two items, but they probably consumed their body weights in them.
Miko got put down for the first and only time during the day in car seat. She was very happy that Papa rescued her a short while later.
The evening ended with some games. A pictionary version of the game telephone was on the agenda. No fights occurred because there was no winner, just a lot of making fun of people for their poor drawing and guessing abilities.
Bails was very happy to sit there and make and decorate cake pops on Rachel's ipad. Nothing would make her Daddy happier than her opening up some sort of bakery in the future.
And this one is obsessed with the camera. Whenever she sees it she smiles for a second then demands to see the picture and then proceeds to grab the camera like we will just hand it over so she can go to town snapping away. Not going to happen.
It was such a fun day. We were so happy to be celebrate with family, especially since we were planning on just being alone for the holiday since Sam was supposed to have zero days off. Thanks for making the trips and having us all! We are very grateful for you all. Love you!
