Good thing the ride home served as a little power nap for the little girls and as soon as we arrived back home they were ready for another round of adventures. All I can say is thank goodness for the girl scout cookie delivery earlier that day to get us through these tough times.
They did eventually fall asleep and the next day they were rewarded with the opening of all the presents. Aleesha was so nice and let the little girls open most of the presents; Rob was a tad more selfish and basically just commandeered the envelopes and only handed over the trash. The remainder of the morning was spent eating all the left over food, pretending we were dogs and following Rex where ever he went, and of course getting tired and heading down for naps right when we were planning to leave for church.
It is all smiles until Rex barks...
