Boise Trip

Sam finished his Phase 1 finals on Friday afternoon and then Saturday morning we headed up to Boise for a quick spring break visit. Hazel was a champ the whole drive. I fed her right before we left and she managed to mostly sleep the whole way with the exception of a few minutes of being awoken by Bailey's death screams. As soon as we rolled into town we stopped at Grandma Pam's house to stretch our legs and feed Hazel. Bailey was in heaven.
Grandma Pam's house is a dream come true for her. She ran from room to room getting her grubby little hands on everything in sight.
This is her I am so happy I am shaking face.
Rooms full of toys, a mason jar full of buttons to dump out, plenty of teddy bears and books; you can only imagine the temper tantrum that ensued when we forced her to leave so we could go eat dinner with Grandpa Braden.
This one ate and then smiled away. Of course Sam had to leave her button undone. Apparently sitting after eating demands loosening the belt and pants. Like father like daughter. A few minutes of talking to the missionaries and a couple diaper changes later we were off to Baja Fresh to meet Grandpa Braden for dinner.
We had a delicious dinner and then headed back to Grandpa's house so Bailey could run and scream freely and Grandpa could hold Hazel a little longer.
Bailey once again was in heaven checking out all of Grandpa's fish and bird and making a mess with all of his cruise souvenirs and decorations.
And before we left of course we had to get a shot of this good looking crew.
Thanks for hanging out with us and for dinner Grandpa. We loved seeing you.
