Sam hates being dirty and sticky more than anyone I know. It is usually quite comical trying to watch him clean Bailey up from meal time. Bailey is usually super messy and he is like a scared old man trying to clean her up while staying super clean. It usually takes him like ten minutes to get the job done (when it should take him like 30 seconds).

Watching him carve a pumpkin with Bailey while trying to not getting any goo on himself? Hilarious.

Especially because Bails is fearless when it comes to getting dirty and she was always trying to get her chubby little hands on the spoon and knife.

Unfortunately she was successful quite a bit of the time. Yes that is my one year old holding a pretty sharp knife. And yes she is quite pleased with herself.

And this is the one year old scaring her Dad half to death. Not because she is holding a sharp knife, but because she has the ability to fling a lot of goo on him and get him dirty. (You know, the guy who wants to be a doctor).

Apparently she doesn't love the idea of touching goo with her hands either.

Unless of course it involves her getting the knife the back.

Or the pumpkin lid can always be fun too.

And for the record, yes she is standing super close to the edge of the doorstep. She did attempt to sit down like three seconds after this picture was taken and yes she did land on her back in a pile of dirt and ick. There was a little bit of crying from her, some shock from Sam and a few small giggles from me. What can I say. It is funny when people fall down. (In my defense she wasn't hurt at all and I came to her rescue the quickest despite being like a thousand pounds pregnant. Sam does move that slow.)
