On Halloween we waited for Sam to get out of class and then we headed over to a little strip mall by our house so she could trick or treat at the stores. We hit the tail end of it so a lot of stores had run out of candy, but it was better than having there be a million people around and she still made out pretty well.

The new aged cow doesn't moo, it roars apparently...

She was even less interested in candy this time around then at the ward party much to the dismay of Sam and I. We needed her to get our candy. Good thing I am shameless and I grab stuff when she won't. Sam feels too awkward and never does. Goof head.

She did find a winner though in the balloon from Dan's. Except they give out balloons to kids every day so we pretty much have a stock pile at our house since we must get one every time we go.

She also scored a toothbrush from an orthodontist after walking through this spook house. I thought the dark would make her nervous, but nope, she was fine just cruising through by herself.

After making her way through all the stores we took her around the block to a few houses. She loved walking up to the houses, knocking on the doors, but she usually ended the visit by trying to enter people's houses. She was successful quite a few times which was super awkward. Thus her trick or treating days ended a bit early for the evening. We thought she would have a great time passing out candy too, but we didn't get a single trick or treater.

So we spent the evening sorting Bailey's candy, letting her eat her bag of cheese balls which she absolutely loved, and then sending the baby to bed while we once again polished off her candy.
Happy Halloween.
