Tomato Garden

We attempted to get a head start on our little garden in March and planted our little seedlings in empty milk cartons to be transferred over when it warmed up. We would put them outside in the warm sunshine each day and then return them inside at night. And then this child happened and multiple times we found our seedlings dumped out and the dirt chaotically sprawled all over the backyard. At this point I gave up on our garden dreams, but Sam decided to transplant them anyway.

It sort of worked. The plant grew and grew and even started to produce little green tomatoes. Too bad the Bailey monster loves to pick little green tomatoes. I think we managed to get three or four actual ripe red tomatoes off of our little plants.

Here's to next years plant being much more edible.
