Birthday Girl!

The birthday girl woke up to some balloons and a busy day. It was Daddy's first day of being done with work so we all spent the whole day together.

We went to Toy's R Us to pick out a special birthday toy and then picked up a happy meal on our way home.
Sam and I both had no idea happy meals started coming in boxes again so that was a pleasant surprise.

The food was mostly consumed by Sam even though he said he didn't want anything while we were ordering.
She did enjoy pulling things into and out of her box and playing with her silly little toy.

After nap time we had a little family dinner of kabobs with Connie, Brandon, Quinn, and Eden and then it was party time.
A few of Bailey's neighborhood friends came over to celebrate her big day with some cake, cookies and cupcakes.
We had a birthday song where Bailey looked around mostly confused.
We blew out the candle and then promptly took it away because that was the first thing she tried to eat.
Then she daintily proceeded to eat her cake. The messiest part of the whole process was when she slipped a little and her hand smashed into the side of her cake.
Oh well, her friends enjoyed digging into it after she was all done.
After cake was present time. Cute Shayleigh brought Bailey a gift and then helped her open it.

We had such a fun day and we can't believe our little Boopers is a one year old. Thanks so much to everyone that came over and helped us celebrate her special day. We love you Bailey.
