A Very Busy Boise Weekend...

The weekend started on Wednesday when Uncle Quinn flew into Salt Lake to hang out and meet Bailey Boopers before the big weekend. We had a nice few days and then "woke up early" and left for Idaho Friday morning. After an annoying visit to the dmv and a quick visit to Great Grandpa Braden we headed over to Nampa for the pizza party.

Bailey just loved Grandpa Braden. She just slept in his arms for hours.
For that matter, Bailey loved the entire weekend because she just got passed around from person to person and spent the entire three days being held 24/7.

Loving Aunt Jana and the camera...
As well as Uncle Chuck and apparently her only cousin Will. Clyde insists his cousins are George, Courtney, and Mallory and Will's cousins are all the babies. Maybe when Bails gets a little bigger she can have two cousins...
I managed to keep my eyes open. That is a first for family pictures...
The fun evening ended with the boys playing a two on two soccer game...
While the rest of us escaped the mosquitoes and watched Clyde win at his Star Wars Lego game on the x-box. Even Bailey Boopers was impressed with how good the little guy was at the game.
The next morning was family picture time. Sam and I almost made it on time which would have been a miracle, except that somehow my shirt didn't get packed (I wonder how that happened Sam?) so we had to make a quick stop at Target so I could match everyone else. And the good news is I got a new shirt out of it.
It was the perfect temperature in the shade which meant a lot of running around and throwing little boys up in the air during the down time...
As well as controlling where Quinn went using his head; Ratatouille style...
And of course continuing to pass the baby around. Uncle Cody's turn...
After pictures we stopped by Olive Garden for a delicious lunch...
Then it was back to Nampa to set up for the family BBQ that evening...

There was a little bit of food prep...
A lot of holding the baby...
Bailey loved Bryn. She had a firm grip on her beautiful hair that took about three minutes to untangle her little fingers from it.
Some sword fighting...
Book reading...
eating, talking...
some more passing around the Boopers...
and the evening ended with some games and s'mores. Chuck was the master of marshmallow roasting.
Sunday morning started early because we had to get to 9 am church that was about 30 minutes away. We were only fifteen minutes late which meant we didn't miss any of Quinn's talk which equals a success. Quinn gave an amazing talk and we were so happy that Bailey cooperated and slept so we could listen.

After the meeting we gathered back at Grandma Pam's house for some more family bonding. There was some eating and talking...
game playing...
baby holding...
And since it was the world cup finals, soccer watching...
Sam must have remembered something really important.

That evening it was back to Chuck and Jana's. The boys were so inspired from the world cup game, they decided to have another game of their own.
And when it got too dark the game moved inside to the x-box...
We had so much fun relaxing and seeing all the friends and family.
Thank you so much Chuck and Jana for hosting us. We had such a great time. We can't wait to do it again soon.
